Having mild scoliosis in the top part of my spine, I've, always been really conscious of my posture, ensuring that I'm not hunching when walking or standing. Wearing MBT's has improved my posture dramatically in terms of the way I walk and stand, by strengthening my back and the supporting muscles. Being an athlete who trains 6 days a week, the MBT's have also provided my muscles an extra workout while I'm wearing them at work

“Though known to be somewhat of a self-healer and quite skeptical of new innovations. I had a quite serious problem with my left foot, and calf, due to an injury caused by a Taxi running over my foot while in Sydney, back in June 2002.I became interesting in trying these.
Though many had told me that I would most likely have a permanent limp and not be totally free of pain and problems with this; I worked many hours stretching and exercising this myself until it became somewhat pain free; well that was until this year.
After the first week, I hardly had MBT off my feet. Comfort and the fact that my leg was getting much better, are just some of the points that has won me over.
I had two of my athletes try these shoes, both have had great success from using them; one a swimmer changing over to triathlon had a foot problem caused from running.
Now in just 6 short weeks he has been able to take his weekly mileage up over double.
The other a high profile elite female triathlete uses these to ease any aches and pains from training, with great success. I would personally recommend that any body, but in particular athletes use these shoes. They certainly have my seal of approval.”

“It is anticipated that regular use of MBTs as a training tool will improve the walking gait and posture of my athletes. It will also encourage the appropriate recruitment of proprioceptive muscles. These attributes combined should help them to better perform the movements and actions required for Paralympic success at the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games.”

“I went to the training session in Brisbane last Sunday and have been wearing in my MBTs ever since. They are sooooo addictive. I have had to pick and choose when I wear them so as not to overload my muscles too much in amongst all the other training I am doing but I can already feel the really positive effects on my feet ankles and gluts especially. I love them!
